【國立中興大學代表團訪問泰國亞洲理工學院（AIT）探討學術與研究合作機會】
2025年4月29日，由國立中興大學工學院院長楊明德教授領導的代表團，攜同來自國立中興大學及東海大學的代表，前往泰國亞洲理工學院（AIT）進行學術交流與合作機會探討。
代表團參觀了AIT的人工智慧與模擬實驗室、人工智慧中心以及無人機入口，並與土木與基礎設施工程系系主任Dr. Geoff Chao、資訊與通訊技術系系主任Dr. Sarawut Ninsawat及相關研究人員進行了深入交流。雙方探討了在工程與科技領域的合作機會，並探討了未來可能的聯合研究與發展計畫。
此次訪問進一步加強了國立中興大學與AIT在學術及技術領域的合作關係，並為未來的合作奠定了良好的基礎。
【NCHU Delegation Visits the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to Explore Academic and Research Collaboration Opportunities】
On April 29, 2025, a delegation led by Prof. Ming-Der Yang, Dean of the College of Engineering at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), accompanied by representatives from NCHU and Tunghai University, visited the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand to explore academic exchange and collaboration opportunities.
The delegation toured AIT's AI and Simulation Lab, AI Center, and DroneEntry, engaging in in-depth discussions with Dr. Geoff Chao, Head of the Department of Civil & Infrastructure Engineering, Dr. Sarawut Ninsawat, Head of the Department of Information & Communications Technologies, and related researchers. Both parties explored potential collaboration opportunities in the fields of engineering and technology, discussing possibilities for joint research and development projects in the future.
This visit further strengthened the academic and technological collaboration between National Chung Hsing University and AIT, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
