Faculty Position in Structural Engineering at NCHU, Taiwan
The Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung-Hsing University is inviting applications for a possible tenure-track faculty position in structural engineering at the level of assistant professor (or above). The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English, develop strong research programs, supervise graduate students, and contribute to service activities within the university and the profession.
The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in structural engineering or materials.
Applications received by June 17, 2024, will receive full consideration.
The application package should include:
1. A detailed curriculum vitae.
2. A statement of career goals and teaching plans.
3. An abstract of the Ph.D. dissertation.
4. A list of publications (published after February 2018).
5. Supplemental information (e.g., projects, research plans, special honors, etc.).
6. Photocopies of the Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. diplomas.
7. Copies of major publications from the past 7 years.
