The International Doctoral Program in Intelligent Engineering and Technology at the College of Engineering, National Chung Hsing University centers on intelligent technologies such as AI, 5G, and the Internet of Things, with a focus on three major areas: intelligent manufacturing, smart cities and communities, and intelligent materials.

This all-English program integrates the resources and research expertise of multiple departments within the College and combines them with industry collaboration, making full use of the advantages of Central Taiwan’s smart machinery cluster to strengthen the synergy among academia, industry, and research. In addition to participating in dual-degree programs and international exchange opportunities, students can also develop interdisciplinary integration skills through research and practical collaboration. After graduation, students may pursue careers in academic research or high-tech industries, becoming internationally competitive senior engineering and technology professionals with strong cross-disciplinary integration capabilities.
